Aim and Scope: The 12th International Seminar on Medical Information Processing and Analysis (SIPAIM) aims to bring together medical and bio-medical researchers, students and professionals, especially those with a strong interest in image and signal analysis. The conference will serve as a forum to communicate results, exchange ideas and promote the creation of technical and scientific collaboration networks.

This year the conference will be held in the city of Tandil, Argentina, one of the main tourist centers of the Province of Buenos Aires. Located in the southeast of the Province, the city is well known for its peacefulness and wild scenery ranging from the planes (pampas) and to the mountains (the Tandilia hills and sierras), making it ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or horseback riding, among others. The region is also famous for its rich variety of locally produced cheese, hams and sausages.
